I applied online. I interviewed at Step Up Women's Network in Mar 2023
Interview
I had a similar preliminary phone interview and then two Zoom interview with multiple members of the team. They ended up hiring an internal candidate who it seems like they planned to hire all along. If you plan to hire internally, thats great but don’t string other applicants along just so you can say you tried to look elsewhere.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Step Up Women's Network (New York, NY) in July 2016
Interview
It was an interview panel. 5 people interviewed me. I also interviewed with the managing director. The questions mostly started with "tell me about a time when..."
There were also questions that spoke to culture fit. What do you do on the weekends? What do you read? Who inspires you?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time you made an unpopular decision.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Step Up Women's Network (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
After submitting my resume, an admin assistant emailed me to schedule a phone interview with a senior person. After the phone interview, there was a round of in person interviews, but I did not get to go to that next step. Waited quite a while between phone interview and rejection but perhaps that's normal.
