After I filled out the application online through Xerox a recruiter emailed a day later to set up an interview 2 days later. The interview went well, I told her about my background and me as a person. After that interview I did not hear from the recruiter for two weeks until she emailed me to speak to the hiring manager. So I scheduled the interview. We had some schedule mishaps but finally had the interview. The hiring manger sounded tired throughout the whole process, which to me was a red flag and said a lot of people quit the job and the person that had this position had also moved on. After the interview, they had me interview with one of the team members. When that interview happened my mic on my laptop decided not to work. So we had to do the interview by cellphone. Me and this team member seemed to be on completely different pages on what this position was. It was totally different then what was described by the hiring manager and the job description on their website. He said he would be in a recommendation for me to the hiring manager. Weird thing is the following week I heard nothing back, then week two I contacted the recruiter and she said the position was already filled because they needed someone with more experience, which is code word for they don't want to train this person and know what they are doing on day one. Needless to say I think I dodged a bullet with this company.
