Interview
I came across the opportunity from a staff recruiter at StockX in 2022.
So first was one screening call with a recruiter and then next there was one google meet interview with a manager.
It was all conducted virtually and the overall experience was good since the interview process was well-organized.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Round 1:
I had the first round directly with the Sr. Director of products. This comprised the Technical round.
Questions asked were to evaluate if the qualities to demonstrate are a genuine interest in the role and competency in communicating knowledge.
What is the long-term strategy of an "X" product?
This interview went for around 1 hour.
I applied online. I interviewed at StockX (Detroit, MI) in Nov 2021

First Step:Video Interview with Recruiter. Nothing unusual about this except that it was a video interview Second Step: Phone Screen with hiring manager focused on behavioral questions. Also very standard.
Process took 4-5 weeks, certainly the longest among all the companies I interviewed for. Extremely unprofessional recruiter who just resorted to communicating via calls and called me at 7 AM PST one of the days.
Seems like a great company, but need to hire better recruiters and actually be hiring for positions listed on the job board.
