I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Whitestone, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied a month or two before but it was to another stop and shop. Since a new stop and shop was opening up in my area, my application was sent to the hiring manager there and the date I put for working was great! He called me in for the interview and told me to come the following day. The next day, I came and went to the office upstairs waited for about thirty minutes and he came to get me from the floor. The interview went very well, very basic, ordinary questions and given the job on spot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What days are you available to work?
How can you use your previous job experience to advance at Stop & Shop?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (West Warwick, RI) in Jan 2025
Interview
Straight forward, thorough, the interviewer has no actual experience with the job I applied for. I think all management should have to do the jobs of non supervisory hourly paid staff. The store felt more like a prison than a grocery store.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in June 2019
Interview
Not too intimidating, pretty standard. The questions were about my previous work experience and my schedule. They asked some questions regarding motivation, my goals and aspirations, and what interests me to be a part of their team.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stop & Shop (Monroe, CT)
Interview
I applied online and they got back to me within a week or 2. I came in for an interview and they showed me around the store and my station and I came in a couple days after that for my first training.
