It was pretty quick for me at least. I had applied lets say on a Monday and the next day the manager called me asking what days I could come in for an interview. This was my first job, I was called into his office just the manager and I. He made me feel comfortable, he could probably tell that I was nervous. He asked questions about previous jobs and such. I answered and he said i could start the following week.
