The interview lasted approximately half an hour and felt more like a pleasant conversation rather than a formal interrogation. However, I found that a significant portion of the discussion was centered around questions about my family and work-life balance. While I understand the importance of these topics in understanding a candidate’s priorities and compatibility with the role, I felt that they might have overshadowed other critical areas, such as my skills, experience, and how I could contribute to the organization. It also gave me the impression that they were looking for someone who would essentially sign their life away, prioritizing the job above all else, which raised concerns about how realistic or sustainable their expectations might be. And it took them for ever to come back. I know your busy but please give feedback and be open with your email so people can ask questions.
