I had a disappointing interview experience with Stovl. I was asked to design an AWS-based sentiment analysis platform for processing audio and transcript files. I explained the architecture, covering storage, processing, scalability, and the relevant AWS services. The interviewer repeatedly mentioned that they were looking for "more depth." To understand their expectations, I explicitly asked multiple times which specific area they wanted me to elaborate on, but no clear answer was provided. It was difficult to address feedback that could not be articulated. I was also concerned by comments suggesting that candidates from certain engineering colleges generally lack deep technical knowledge. Technical evaluations should be based on a candidate's skills, experience, and reasoning rather than assumptions about educational background.
