First round was a video call with the hiring manager, Bill. Just a few behavior questions and questions about my work experience.
Second round was a technical interview. Another video call also with Bill, senior developer, and a junior developer. There wasn't any coding questions (which I was expecting) but a lot of technical questions on software design. They really cared about my knowledge on microservices and how it works. And at the end, they gave a scenario and asked me to design the software.
I felt pretty positive walking out of the interview because I was able to answer most if not all of the technical questions and the interviewers seemed satisfied. But at the end, I didn't get an offer and the feedback I got back from the recruiter was that, I didn't share enough of my experience while answering the technical questions.
