I'm a young female who applied for a job with this company. I had a phone interview with the company’s (male) president, who conducted what began as a typical phone interview. Then he segued into asking an illegal interview question ("Are you married?"). Not only is that an illegal interview question, in Massachusetts, where same-sex marriage is legal, it could also be an underhanded way of finding out someone's sexual orientation (another illegal interview question).
Suffice it to say I didn’t continue the interview and didn’t pursue the job.
