A week after submitting my application, I received an invitation for an in-person meeting. However, the interview experience was quite unusual. The interviewer opened by stating a departure from traditional hiring methods, emphasizing personality over skills. After a 40-minute explanation of their products, only two questions were asked to me before the interview concluded abruptly. Unfortunately, I felt I had little opportunity to showcase my personality. Despite assurances that the entire process would take two weeks and a promise of moving on to the second screening during the first interview, I was subsequently informed that I would not be progressing further.
To be completely frank I am happy that I did not move on. It feels like I dodged a bullet.
