I applied online. I interviewed at Structural Concepts (Muskegon, MI) in Jan 2026
Interview
Was sent 2 different assessments, was phone screened by the recruiting leader, and then quick 30 minute call with the hiring manager. Ultimately was told my experience does not align with what they are looking for.

About my background and what interests me in Structural Concepts
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Structural Concepts (Norton Shores, MI) in July 2016
Interview
After leaving several applications over three months, I finally received a call for an interview. After arriving at the time scheduled, the person from HR was nearly half an hour late, very impersonal and rushed, and didn't spend any time talking. They left me at a computer to do a "compatibility test" with obvious answers that seemed more demeaning to be put through. Most of the questions were repeated four or five times with only slight rewording, and some were incriminating and alluded to illegal actions.
After, I was sent back to the lobby till the manager for the shift was available. This was much more personable and we spent almost an hour talking about the position and the company, and even about the approaching rain.
Interview process was fairly standard. Not so easy to get an answer out of anyone when calling to check on your application. Phone calls usually went ignored and sent to voicemail. Once I finally got a hold of someone, an in-person interview was set up. Standard questions, drug test, followed by a job offer if you're lucky in the few days following.
