Submitted application and resume to company website. Was contacted by a recruiter, had an initial phone interview with recruiter and IT manager, was asked to do an in-person interview. After the in-person interview, no follow-up, ghosted. I can understand not getting an offer, and I can understand not being told why I was not selected (I am an older worker), but what I'm angry about is the lack of communication from the recuiter after the interview. I contacted the recuiter several times and got no response. I did not expect an explanation of why I was not hired, just a status, very unprofessional.
