The whole interview motto: You are not an employable candidate to them, you are their punching bag with whom they can use insults and misbehave and discourage you incessantly.
First there will be the brief Telephonic Interview process with HR. That will go nicely. You will be called at the branch.
Once you get there, the HR for brief will give you a form to fill that is way too long.
Afterwards, you directly go to the Technical person or the person who is supposed to be your senior. In my case, it was this aged senior person whose punching bag for the day I was.
The senior immediately discards whatever knowledge you mention to them. Calls, Solidworks and Ansys are same. And everything on Ansys can be done on Solidworks. (No, not the solidworks simulations the CAD software itself). You are then told to show your knowledge by measuring Vernier Caliper and Micrometer Gauge. All the while discrediting your knowledge telling you how you know nothing. And that your CV is not even important. The other Design Engineers will constantly try to suggest you in various ways that this company is not worth it.
You try to manage your conscious and try to draw a valid shape and size in Solidworks all the while the aged senior in command criticizes you telling you how you lack imagination and your dimensions and methods are wrong.
After you are done with the horrible experience, you go to the Manager who talks sweetly. (Yes, HR is the only possible nice person you may find there.) He'll soon ask you to talk about family and if you dare mention that you have a bit family problems but nothing that can't be managed, he'll say, "You are not mentally ill, are you?" Yes. That will happen. Be prepared.
And they will say that such a young and dashing person like you deserves good salary. Whole 10000 to 12000 of it.
