I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sumo Logic (Palo Alto, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Very poor organization. They messed up setting up my second interview and had to reschedule. Every interaction with the company had a "slimy" feel to it. Had never heard of Sumo Logic before they contacted me for an interview, but all of their contact made it seem like it could easily be a single person running an elaborate scam. Overall very weird and unprofessional experience.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sumo Logic (Mountain View, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
Disorganized and confusing interview. Just finished it.
Contacted by email after applying. Asked to fill out form, but no link to it was attached. They did not reply when I asked about it, but rather sent a new email acting as though I had ignored the first. Scheduled an interview.
Had a hard time understanding the interviewer overall - not a native speaker and he seemed to struggle to express what he wanted me to do.
I didn't actually code at all during the brief 30 minute interview, but rather opened up codepad.io and began writing comments about how I would implement finding the longest palindrome in a string. He didn't seem to want me to write any code to solve the problem, though this wasn't well articulated. Overall very awkward and painful.
