I applied online. I interviewed at Sumo.com (Austin, TX) in Aug 2017
Interview
I applied online and shortly after I received a series of challenges both to be completed within a certain time frame. It is definitely something that is very unique and nothing I have come across before. Gets you thinking! I would recommend spending time crafting well thought out answers because both challenges are critical to getting the onsite interview.
After passing the two challenges I had a brief call/phone screening with Sam - the Director of People. Later that day she invited me for an onsite interview scheduled for the following week. The interview was broken down into two 30-minute interviews with members of the Sales team and then a 45-minute interview with my direct supervisor. They asked some tough questions but I would still consider it an open dialogue. Overall, the process took two weeks!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sumo.com (Austin, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied online and was reached out to by Matt Levene who sent me a few challenges to do. The challenges were really fun and educational. I ended up subscribing to Noah's podcast (great listen) and buying Anton's recommended sales books. Though I wasn't called in for an interview, I took so much away from the challenges and Matt was awesome throughout the whole process.
