I applied online. I interviewed at Sun West Mortgage in June 2026
Interview
After applying, I received an online assessment from Intervue.io (like HackerRank, CodeSignal, etc.). Seconds into the OA, there were several pop-ups indicating lip movement, multiple people detected, and suspicious eye movement whenever I looked down to type on my keyboard. It was just me, and I did not talk during the test. And at one point, it said I had switched tabs when I hadn't. It was pretty distracting.

Question 1
There were 6 optional questions and 1 required matrix problem.
I received a brief email saying that I was invited to the Sun West Mortgage Software Engineer Self-Assessment test. I had a applied through LinkedIn and to me Sun West isnt't that well know and I had never heard of Intervue (the asynchronous testing tool), so I made sure to do a quick check online to make sure it wasn't a phishing scam.

Question 1
I haven't taken the test yet. Just sharing my experience so I can read others. So my answer of average for interview difficulty isn't necessarily accurate
