I applied on Functional Consultant role from LinkedIn. A few days later, the recruitment team contacted me for an interview session with Hiring Manager.
During interview sessions, I found that the recruiter and Hiring Manager didn't turn on their camera. After the interview has finished, they contacted me again to do a take home assignment and they didn't told me clearly what is my task so I asked them about it, at this point I found that this company really have not good communication.
They told me to do a certain certification of modules in a week, which is time wasting and not worth to fight for since each modules take a lot of time, at that time I am being tasked to do 5 modules. And then they made me an employee account to access their vendor's LMS which is Acumatica. IMO, this is unsafe way because they exposed their own internal problem and its detail about their employees and clients to external.
For me, it is OK to do take home assignment as long as it is not waste a lot of time. BTW, if you are being offered a job in this company, you will be put in 3 months probation, after that you will be offered 1 year contract and the next year they might offered you a permanent role
