nother reason why this crisis happened and will still continue or even might get worse is because people are not ready to spend money on Electric cars. No charging infrastructure and it is a very big prblm to allocate charging stations for the masses and even a budget electric car will become down right expensive. We import electric mosquito bats from China because they are cheaoer to manufacture in China than to make in India... Actually manufacturing electric cars is a big challenge for affordable price that is acceptable to a common man. Finally a growing population.. India's increasing water crisis will become a major threat to all business including auto industry and this begins a bigger prblm.. Water crisis will eat away a large chunk of out GDP
