During the interview process with the CEO, there was a notable absence of introductory remarks about himself or the company. Instead, he immediately delved into a series of questions exclusively focused on meeting targets. It is my sincere recommendation not to consider applying to this company. The CEO, as the representative figure of the organization, conveyed a clear message that work-life balance is not a priority. He explicitly stated a target of conducting 60 interviews per day, allowing for a mere 5 minutes per candidate. Additionally, during the discussion of my background, it was evident that he had not thoroughly reviewed my CV, as evidenced by his inquiry at the end regarding my interest in sales. Despite my explicit communication about my aversion to working at night and the impracticality of meeting the specified targets, I was advanced to the second round, which involved assessments—a typing speed evaluation and a presentation on talent attraction in the region. I ultimately chose to withdraw my application. Upon further reflection and consideration of employee comments, and the nature of responses provided by the company, I am confident that withdrawing my application was the best decision.
