I interviewed at Sunvalleytek Group (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2020
Interview
I made it through a basic screening then a panel interview with two other team members. It went pretty well all things considered. The problem came when the recruiter requested that I do a video project for them using some clips from a google drive. This would determine my next steps so I did the project, but after submitting it, they completely ghosted me even after a few follow up emails over the span of a month. It would have been ideal to have gotten feedback on my work (whether it was good or not), but the very least they can do is give me a status updated on my application process especially since I put time to a videography assignment. What's worse is that I still found the job rec to be promoted on LinkedIn months after they had ghosted me. I found the way things were handled on their end very unprofessional. I understand that communication to candidates can be difficult given the shear number of them, but my recommendation is to at least give priority to those candidates who have made it far enough for the take-home assignment. Give them status updates on their application process whether they made it to the next round or not. It takes time out of their day.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sunvalleytek Group in June 2020
Interview
The interview process was unprofessional and had so many red flags. I went through 4 rounds, which included two take home tests. After taking all this time, they ended up just ghosting me.
