I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Superhuman (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
A data challenge/exercise homework was given. I promised to return it a week later. I spent about 15 hours answering the questions and writing a a thorough report. About one week after submission I received a rejection email without any feedback. As is customary I replied to ask for feedback on the assignment, which is when I realized, quite egregiously that the rejection email was sent from a do-not-reply email address. I contacted the reviewer to ask for feedback, and never heard a response.

From a list of user "ping" data, compute some descirpitives, and user retention curves. Finally determine which referral sources made the most successful users.
Overall great experience with the grammarly data team. I had a pretty standard data science interview questions, including product case, data manipulation, experiment/ab testing etc. The interviewers were very friendly.

Started with recruiter call then live coding technical section on SQL but without any data to actually work with. Then there was a business problem/case study section where the interviewer asked questions. Seemed more like an analyst interview versus data scientist

SQL questions without actual data to work with, joining multiple tables to calculate things
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman (Düsseldorf) in June 2024
Interview
Grammarly's interview process is amongst the best I have experienced. Although there were a lot of them (7 in total), they were scheduled efficiently and feedback was also given in a timely manner.

Question 1
All of the interview questions were reasonable and practical. There weren't any unreasonable trick questions.
