I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Superhuman (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Too much confusion on their side. They did not have a clear role in mind (no qualifications or job description was specified) but were still interviewing. I had asked them about this repeatedly but they assured me that they had 'a plan in mind'. The on-site interview was not timed properly, their interviewers had to leave 15 minutes early or were 30 minutes late.
They asked me to focus completely on the research experiences and later said I don't have enough 'software' or 'production' skills.

I applied online. I interviewed at Superhuman in June 2017
Interview
After applying online, I had a 30 minutes call with a person from HR.
She sent me a simple data science project in which I had to predict the misplacement of English articles (a,an,the). The project came with a readme explaining that for the evaluation metric a value of 0.5 was very good, while the best ever value was close to 0.8. I built a working system that achieved 0.55 in only two days and submitted the project. Never heard back from them for two weeks, and after a lot of anxiety I asked for an update and got the default email telling that I was rejected. If all that they wanted was something close to 0.8, why bothering to say that 0.5 is very good? My advice for future applicants is to aim for the maximal value you can get.
This seems like a good company to work, but I am very disappointed with this interview processing.

The phone interview had default questions as what was your experience with Python, data science, etc....
I applied online. I interviewed at Superhuman (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was given a take-home coding task which was definitely not a typical interview task, but rather a real work project. Producing the simplest solution took me 8 hours, I didn't mind doing it just out of curiosity. After I submitted my solution, I got no feedback, just an automatic response that I don't fit.
