I was already in the middle of interviewing and when Grammarly reached out, they really sped things up for me. After chatting with the hiring manager, I was promptly scheduled for onsite interviews spanning 5 rounds and a coffee chat with the team. I had a really positive experience. The interviewers were all super friendly and the interviews were not intimidating at all. The behavioral rounds were a little unusual, but the hiring manager set clear expectations overall. I actually really appreciate their interview process as their strong culture is reflected in it and I think they do a better job at filtering out jerks. While I did get an offer, I unfortunately had to turn it down since I already had an offer from an earlier-stage startup paying more cash, which I preferred in current macro economic conditions.
