I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was enjoyable and pretty industry-standard from my experience. Altogether, I had a phone screening, hiring manager interview, panel interview with two peers, and a final interview with the skip-level manager. The process finished with three reference checks. I also requested an office visit, which they kindly obliged.

Question 1
How have you changed as a marketer throughout your career?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman in July 2024
Interview
Overall a very organized interviewing and hiring process. I received a referral from a friend who works at Grammarly. When I spoke with the initial in-house recruiter, he truly had studied my resume, knew so much about my background, and was honestly trying to outline the connections of why i fit the role so well. I felt quite flattered and that they truly wanted me to consider the role. I then met with the hiring manager. She was a few minutes late to the interview, which happens sometimes, but then seemed a bit overwhelmed and unprepared for the interview. She didn't really introduce herself or the role but jumped right into 3-5 very technical questions. I was not informed that this was a technical interview but was fortunately prepared. I felt confident in my answers but admittedly didn't have experience in 1 of technical B2B practices she asked me about- I felt comfortable admitting I didn't have experience in it but we had an open discussion about the context. Despite that, our call went over by 30 minutes (which we both agreed was okay to do so) and it ended with the hiring manager saying she didn't think I was right for this specific role but really enjoyed our time. I appreciate the candid nature of her comment even though it didn't work out.
