I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Bala Cynwyd, PA) in May 2022
Interview
A really solid interview process from start to finish. I got a phone screening request within a few days of applying. They saw I was a good fit for the role and proceeded with their online assessment on Coderbyte, and a followup interview with a senior engineer to discuss the solution results. Within a week, I heard back and was told I would be moving forward to a final round panel. This interview took about 3-4 hours and had 3 rounds. The first interview was a coding challenge and it was pretty straight forward. This was with two senior developers. The second interview was a system design challenge, also with two senior developers, where I had to sketch the implementation for a checkout system in a grocery store. My final round was a behavioral/culture fit interview with one of the engineering managers. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and provided good insights into working at SIG.
Within a few days of the final round interview, I was extended an offer and given the offer details.

I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Philadelphia, PA) in June 2026
Interview
- initial phone screen
- technical round (follow up with recruiter next day)
- technical + design round (pre and post interview calls with recruiter)
- in-person fit/experience talks (pre and post interview calls with recruiter)
I realize this sounds like a ton of meetings (and it is), but I appreciated the straightforwardness of the process and the amount of feedback I got, which I think is rare among interviews.
