A recruiter reached out directly. The first interview with the hiring manager was organized quickly which went well (basic questions). They however don't specify (willingly omit to say) that they continue to do interviews even though they already made an offer to someone, so that in fact the entire process was a waste of time. This practice is very disrespeftful towards the other candidates. - Advice to interviewees: ask them from the beginning how far is the hiring process already, because you may well be a "just-in-case" candidate in case nobody takes their offer.
