I applied online. I interviewed at Swords to Plowshares (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Straight to the point. Had a full interview with two employees- one higher up, on the first round. They asked a lot of repetitive questions around policy and adherence to ethical standards. They did not leave more than three minutes for my questions. I declined to move forward in their interview process upon request for references, after my interview experience and the position not being the best fit.

Question 1
How do you adhere to policy standards at an agency?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Swords to Plowshares (San Francisco, CA) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was nice, they were very polite and smiled in my face. Later that day I got an email saying I was not selected for the position, no reason given. I figured someone more qualified got the position. It's been a year and I still see the position being posted on the internet. I have twenty years experience as a licensed psychiatric Technician, I don't know what was the discriminating factor regarding my application, but it seems they would rather operate understaffed then to hire a qualified person. I revisited the website and unable to re-apply, it states I've already applied. I don't know what was the discriminating factor regarding my application, they smiled in my face during the interview. Perhaps it's best considering all the bad reviews, high staff turnovers, and inability to fill open positions.
