I went through the whole interview process (task, technical interview, sending references and all of it) for about two weeks and after all of that they didn't get back to me - I asked them to get back to me in a professional email yet they still ignored it... I'd say the worst interviewing experience I've ever had.

The interview process is like any other interview process consists of technical and non-technical interviews. The technical interview process consists of consists of Problem Solving questions and System Design questions.

I completed all the hiring stages and I didn’t receive any feedback. I was pretty sure I did well that’s way I was confused but after a while they announced they stopped hiring and lay off many employees.

Applied through the company's career website.
After several weeks, got a request to do a coding assignment without any prior call (e.g., CV screening).
Took 4-5 and made a big effort to do the assignment in the best possible way. I was very confident of the positive outcome (next interview round) as vehicle routing optimisation is something that I have been successfully doing for many years and different clients (companies). Without wanting to sound arrogant, I believe to be an expert in this problem domain.
After one week, got a generic rejection email that they decided not to move forward with the candidacy. It was such a waist of my time.
