I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Symbotic (Centralia, WA) in July 2024
Interview
Multi-stage interview process including several phone/zoom calls which eventually led to an offer. The process was quite arduous due to scheduling and timing of communication. After going through the process I wasn't convinced the company was very organized.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Symbotic in Jan 2025
Interview
The whole process was a mess, completely unprofessional and disorganized. After going through three rounds of interviews and waiting three months for a decision, they just ghosted me. It’s honestly extremely disappointing that after spending a whole month preparing for interviews, they didn’t even have the decency to say, “Hey, we’re not moving forward with you but thank you for your time” or "this will take longer than expected hold on" not a word for 3 months, not a reply to my emails, nothing.
There were three interview stages with different stakeholders. The first one was technical, where they asked me five or six questions about control systems, PLCs, and automation. The next two were behavioral interviews, but the last one had a stronger technical focus.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Symbotic in Sept 2023
Interview
It was roughly 30 minutes over Microsoft Teams. They asked me about my experience, past roles and the typical "Tell me about a time when" type of questions. Overall, was pretty straight forward and the people are great.
