I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Synack in Mar 2022
Interview
I was contacted by the recruiter two days after my application. I was then invited to talk to my future regional sales director. This went well. The third step would have been to talk to The Head of Worldwide Sales, which did not come to pass. In a fourth step, I presented to a panel that consisted of the regional vice president and my future direct manager. The two other people that were to attend were not present. So I only two people attended my presentation and the panel interview. After that I was offered the job. The whole process to 3 to 4 weeks. All the interviews were the best I have ever had. Everyone was very transparent, friendly and helpful. They let me know almost in my first interview that I was the right candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about my motivation for the role, not so much about my background. They wanted to get to know me a s a person to gauge if I was good cultural fit also.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Synack (Redwood City, CA) in Sept 2018
Interview
Well laid out and controlled:
Phone screen
On-site
Offer
Each person I spoke with and met in person was fantastic, and that is everyone from the recruiter all the way up to the CRO.
These people whew the role well and could not only tell me the positives but could also articulate the challenges that I would face should I get the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were pretty standard with the recruiter, but with each person I met with, the questions became more targeted based on the department they were in and how that department worked with sales.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Synack (San Francisco, CA) in May 2016
Interview
These people do not know what they are doing. They could not answer even simple questions about revenue and lead gen, etc. I was not impressed and have no idea how they intend to compete against companies like WhiteHat or consulting houses that have full time, accountable, reliable employees.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Simple and asked by people who know nothing about selling security.
