I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Synchrony Healthcare
Interview
The process started with a phone screen with HR, then I had a video interview with the hiring manager and their manager and then final round was three back to back
interviews with Team members. It was a very slow process. The interviews themselves weren’t difficult, but getting in touch with HR was. There would be weeks between emails hearing back, and no proactive updates came through. Be sure to discuss salary expectations upfront as there was no alignment when I got to the offer stage.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Synchrony Healthcare in July 2021
Interview
I applied online through a 3rd party agency. I then connected with the external recruiter in charge of placement via phone. I had a Zoom interview with 3 team members for about 1 hr. I completed a short assignment to assess research skills, attention to detail. I received a part-time offer, but it was cancelled soon after as company decided to handle work internally.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very conversational -- tell us about editorial experience, health/medical industry experience
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Synchrony Healthcare (West Chester, PA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I had a brief phone interview and was brought in for an in person interview a week later. The phone interview was positive; however, the rest of the interview process was not. Had four different thirty minute interviews with four different people who asked the same questions every time. Two out of the four expressed concerns that I was too smart and would be bored in the position. My first interviewer was particularly unprofessional (in her defense she found out ten minutes before that she was interviewing me), most of her interview was complaining about how far she had to travel for work. Overall the whole experience left me feeling like I didn't want to work there.
