I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Syngenta (Milan, IL) in Aug 2025
Interview
I went through the recruitment process with Syngenta (Italy), which lasted about three months and differed significantly from the process used by other Syngenta teams.
I first completed a technical test (Cederpad), followed by a psychometric test, a feedback interview, and then a technical interview. After the technical interview, I was told I would receive a response within two weeks. However, even after one months, I had not received any feedback and communication from the company ceased.
I reached out to HR. My email was received but never answered. I also attempted to contact the Data Science Lead who had previously responded to some of my questions before the psychometric test, but after the technical interview, he stopped replying as well.
I believe the company could improve its recruitment process by streamlining it. For example, they could choose either a technical test, a technical interview, or a use case, rather than requiring all three. A long process that ends without feedback can be frustrating and wastes candidates’ time.

Question 1
Most of the questions are theoretical, for example about Time Series models such as ARIMA and SARIMA.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Syngenta in July 2025
Interview
Passed the HR filter. Was sent a timed coding test. Each question had its own time slot, so you could not e.g. spend less time on one question and more on the next. First two questions were entirely SQL. Not sure about the rest as I closed the window.
