As there is often overlap between some of the positions we're hiring for, we like to take into account your motivations as well as your skills & experience (which we learn on our first call with you), before suggesting the best possible match. We're glad that after the first two online interviews it sounds like you agreed that this was a good match, and you were happy to come to an on-site interview.
It's never nice to be greeted with the wrong name. There are days when we have multiple candidates interviewing for different roles at the same time. It could be that we were checking to see which of those candidates you were if we hadn't met you in person before, but if this wasn't the case we can only apologise.
We make an effort to offer refreshments, and to suggest at the start of the session that fruit and/or snacks are available at any time if you want them. We apologise if this wasn't done properly, or if you felt uncomfortable asking for them.
We're also sorry if it seemed like two days was a long time to wait for a decision. We generally receive compliments for being faster than most other companies. We feel that it's important to hold a full debrief session within 48 hours to ensure all feedback is considered in detail while it's fresh in the interviewers' minds.
We then provide the option of having a detailed feedback call if this is of interest. I can only assume this wasn't taken up, but if you contact us we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
