Interview
First you get a phone interview. After that you receive a call to set up a face to face interview. At that interview you meet with HR and they will set you up with a second interview. The second interview is with the supervisor. At this interview I was informed that they don't really hire women for the position I applied for which kinds threw me off a bit because I have prior experience doing the exact same thing in the same environment. That's as far as I got before getting a rejection email. I'm pretty sure I was only interviewed and even made it that far so they can't get in trouble for discrimination, at least that's the easy that comment dieing my second interview made me feel. I've been turned down for jobs before but never have I felt it was because of my gender which is a shame because I know I could have proven them wrong and shown them we are perfectly capable since I currently work on cars which is also viewed as a mans job since I get that comment every day at work. I was just looking for better income and advancement opportunity which my current employer doesnt offer. If you are a female I wouldn't waste your time or get your hopes up.

Interview
I received an email telling me to come to the Sysco location for an interview and ask for 5 different people. When I arrived, it was a completely automated process with no person at the reception desk. I put my name into their computer and it asked who I was meeting with. I picked a random name from the list they told me to ask for and entered it. After waiting about 20 minutes a lady came out and told me to come in the back with her. She brought me to an extremely cramped area barely big enough to pull out 1 chair (like the back of the chair was touching the other side of the room.) So we sit down in this cramped space. She starts by telling me she has a few questions to ask off this piece of paper and that she would write my answers down. When I started my answers she would write down one or two words. Not anything that indicated any of the details my answers provided. After the first question she went on a tangent about how she’s been there for only 1 year and that she wished that she read reviews for the position before applying because it’s exactly like what the reviews say in a negative way. So we talked about how some jobs aren’t meant for everyone and that it takes a certain person sometimes to fill rolls. She preceded to tell me how hard of a time they are having finding people for the position. She said they raised the pay, tried to give more benefits etc but still nobody wanted the job. She went on to describe the company in a negative way saying nobody wants to work and that she’s had to write up multiple people for calling in etc. She told me that everyone quits within a year of applying. At no point did I ever indicate that I wasn’t interested in the job. In fact I tried to let her know multiple times that I was very interested. As the interview concluded, she said I would hear back within a few days. She walked me to the door and didn’t say a word. I stopped and turned and told her that it was nice to meet her and she shut the door basically in my face. I can completely see why they have a hard time filling positions. I have over 10 years of factory experience doing every kind of job, and there was no reason for me to not be hired. A week and a half later I see they reposted the job. Seems like she’s actively trying to turn people away and not hire for whatever reason. I was also asked strange questions during the interview.

Interview
Phone interview, then interview with a man. He seemed like he barely even knew his own job, let alone the order selector job. Seemed like I had more experience than he did. He said some racist remarks about one of the other workers. I know i dont work there, but i do deserve some respect. I WILL NOT BE WORKING HERE!
