I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TASC (Vienna, VA) in May 2010
Interview
Recruiter emailed me and ask that I fill out a questionnaire. Hiring manager called me to arrange interview. Met three individuals in lobby of Vienna, VA office building. The interview process was very pre-staged. Three different personalities each speaking at the same time. An angry type, a friendly jokester and the techno guy. It seemed more like a personality or ADD physiological test. Very unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked if I had a thorough understanding of the DOD acquisition process, was capable of developing Flag-level briefs and supporting Senior Government Executives. Most difficult question was, "Can you pass a polygraph".
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TASC (Chantilly, VA) in Nov 2011
Interview
One of the most ridiculous interviews I've ever had. I was interviewed by a succession of four different people. Each one asked about my software development skills. The HR rep came in at the end and said, "the interviewers all liked you, but they felt you might be better as a systems engineer. What do you think of that?" I reached out to my resume sitting on the table in front of us, turned it towards her, and pointed to the top of page 1: "Objective: Senior Systems Engineer." She looked a bit flustered and mumbled something like, "Well, OK, then."
