I was interviewed for Technical Manager/Senior role and I cleared 1 Technical,1 Technical cum Managerial round and 1 HR round.HR then proposed an offer through email of X amount(very low as per market standards).HR called me after 1 day and said that the X LPA offer has been rejected by the Business Unit and now HR said if I am ok with (X-1)LPA then she can try to get the approval for that. I rejected that (X-1) LPA when I felt X was already very low considering my experience and as I was interviewed for a Senior role. It was a complete waste of time and very unprofessional to not stick to their own offer.
