The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TDIC (Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi) in June 2009
Interview
long winded and convoluted with little focus on the job at hand or the participation that one would have in the company the process was arduous and lengthy with many candidates failing at the final review after months of waiting
this process looks like an upturned funnel as more attrition than resources were captured and hence the resource load fell on the remaining staff
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TDIC in Dec 2010
Interview
Disappointing. Panel had no relevant experience. More interested in seeing in I was lying about what I've done than what I've done. Asked absolutely irrelevant questions and used the answers as an attempt to create an unnecessary argument. Attempted to intimidate me. Definitely walked out with the panel not knowing if and how I could add value to their organization. I left not wanting to be a part of the organization.
All the steps prior to the panel interview were impressive and conducted very professionally.
Afterwards was advised that the panel 'interrogation" was just a strategy but fail to see how it allows them to measure a candidate's ability to do anything other than deal with an obnoxious ego.
