I applied online. I interviewed at TECSys Development
Interview
Others have complained about being nonresponsive, so I wanted to balance and say I did not experience that. They were clearly interested in me as a candidate, and so their responsiveness was fast almost to the point of rushing. I was rushed through the process, with new interviews wanted to be scheduled the next day after the previous one (which didn’t work for me). I slowed things down as I could while being polite, trying to feel out the company. Everyone was very friendly and open, and I got a very fair opinion of the company as a whole. I spoke to the hiring manager, then the CEO, then the CFO to discuss their benefits. When I kindly declined due to how honestly horrible the benefits are (unaffordable medical for a family if you don’t have another source of insurance for everyone else). That’s understandable, I suppose. Overall a friendly process, if too fast.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked general questions about my experience. Not too much deep diving or difficult things to answer.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TECSys Development (Plano, TX) in Dec 2015
Interview
Conference room style, all hands on deck and remote employees. The format included questions, submitting writing samples, and demonstrating online the tools I would use. Some of the questions were odd; however, so were the answers. They were all programmers who wrote in code, so grammar, punctuation, and clarity was not their middle ground.
