      Lifecycle Marketing Manager Interview

      6 Jan 2026

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at TLDR (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2025

      Interview

I went through a multi-stage interview process for a senior lifecycle marketing role. The process included: • An initial recruiter screen • A hiring manager interview • A working session involving a detailed 30–60–90 day lifecycle plan • HubSpot access to review real funnel data • A live presentation and discussion with multiple stakeholders The conversations themselves were thoughtful and respectful, and the team was clearly knowledgeable and engaged. However, the take-home assignment required a significant time investment and involved developing strategy directly tied to their current lifecycle challenges and live data. While I understand the intent behind practical exercises, the scope felt closer to real consulting work than a typical interview assignment. Candidates considering this process should be aware of the level of effort expected. Overall, a professional team, but a demanding interview process that may not be right for everyone.
