Interview
I previously worked for TLT as a Support Analyst. Informed of the opportunity by a previous line manager around 2 weeks before interview. I was given no information aside the job title until the evening before. I was told this was due to the job description being revised, but it was identical to one from 2016. It gave very little information of how 2nd Line role differs from 1st line.
I was therefore given very little time to prepare. The interview was a fairly open format with questions from HR and line manager. The technical segment consisted of 2 questions. I don't believe these were a fair assessment of technical ability.
Many other companies hiring for a technical role would use scenario-based questions or a short written test - in this case, TLT made no effort to make a fair assessment.
Due to the collective experiences above throughout the recruitment process, I will not be applying for any further TLT roles.
