I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TOP Group (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2013
Interview
Usually interviewed and left waiting in the front office filling out paperwork and signing documents for non-compete and other non-disclosure agreements. Starts with a phone call, in person or skype interview, a panel interview with ridiculous questions not related to the position. Asked questions and got answers, that turned out to be lies. No one sticks to the schedule or principles.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TOP Group (Houston, TX) in July 2019
Interview
Open ended questions to see level of interest in recruiting; explaining relevance of prior experience to current position applied for; checks for compatibility with other office recruiters and management, bilingual skill interview; Open floor for potential co workers to ask questions to get to know you better
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TOP Group
Interview
Very straightforward, typical behavioral interview. The questions were very straightforward, and were conducted in both English and Japanese. I interviewed at their office, but had a first round interview over Skype. She asked me things like desired salary, previous work experience, as well as general housekeeping questions like my work visa status. As long as you are a good communicator and logical, I feel as if you will be able to get a job through TOP.
