I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TP (Newry, Northern Ireland) in July 2015
Interview
A phone interview.
An assessment.
Another phone interview the same day.
The phone interview is very simple to begin with- what would you do in a situation your system fail in the middle of a call/ the phone line drops etc? Its hard to get questions like this wrong. A bit of personal talk about myself and that was that. I was offered to attend the assessment.
The assessment was ridiculously easy. It took about 1-2 hours. It contained different tasks to be done in different time frames. Simple adding/subtracting, picking out spelling mistakes, circle the matching sequence(!). There was a listening test too and that was that. There was 3 other people doing the assessment that day.
After the assessment I got a phone call. There was another small interview process about why I want the job, this lasted about 20 minutes and then I was offered the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would I do if the line dropped during a call?
The interview process was tedious with lot of online sections. We had about 4 assessments and in person interview. Our language fluency was tested. The test comprised of Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Understanding. The test was based on English and French.
Interview process very easy. Basic questions, they need people, so nothing special to mention here. I had a few tests to pass (language test, French in my case, typing speed..) I’ve spoken with a french speaker from HR, she was explaining to me life in Athens (well she “forgot” to mention how difficult is it to find an accommodation with such a low salary). We also had a quick chat in English. They took care of the flight expenses, taxi at the arrival and the first week’s hotel expenses.
Was straight forward amd to the point. Very clear on expectations of the job role amd what it entailed. Took the position as I was impressed by the micro management
