I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TSA (Transportation Security Administration) (Palm Springs, CA) in June 2019
Interview
The hiring process is fairly quick compared to other federal agencies. From submitting application to landing an interview, it took only about a month for me (for some other federal positions that I've applied to, I do not hear anything back for at least 6 months or longer).
The interview was easy, nothing tricky or unexpected. Mine had 2 supervisors take turns asking several situational or behavioral questions. Most of the questions were common and typical.
