I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Taboola (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in June 2023
Interview
1. HR call 2. HM interview (at this call we figured out that I am not good a match for the initial position, and afterwards moved forward with another one) 3. VP Product f2f 4. Product Design Case f2f (2 hours preparation + presentation) 5. HR 6. Director of R&D 7. CTO 8. HM (for a new role) 9. Calls to 2 previous managers for references All the guys from the product team very very nice and interesting to talk to. They also seem to be a very professional team and to have a strong product culture in the company. I appreciate also an opportunity they gave to proceed with the interviews for an another position that was supposed to be a better match than the initial one. But: following the process, I had a somewhat uncomfortable feeling regarding the way I was treated by the recruiter. When I requested two additional days to consider the offer, I was informed that "I was sending a wrong message." Additionally, the recruiter conveyed a sense that the team was doing me a favour by giving me an offer.

Question 1
Product case interview tested both product discovery approach (in any format) and presentation skills (presentation of the feature to Taboola partners). Other interviews — standard questions about former experience.

Interview
The recruiter LIED about the role, when I got to the interview she didn’t pick up the phone, and then the interviewer told me about the role and I realized I was told the role senior level and not junior as the interviewer described. When I told him that, he treated me with no respect, through insulting notes at me. Just don’t do that to yourself! I went out from the office with the most horrible feeling I’ve ever had.
