Recruiter sent an email saying they needed to know my pay range prior to even having a call/providing any info. I said I would prefer to learn about the day to day/learn about the company prior to defining what I’d need to be making…then got the reply to the email of “we are moving forward with other candidates then.”
What was the point of that? How do you expect to find any quality candidates when you have someone give no background on the role, no background on company/company culture or benefits? All of those play into what someone is looking for in terms of pay.
Complete waste of time - simply got an email with them asking what I want to make prior to ever speaking to me. There was no convo/no explanation of the role or the company whatsoever. When I said I’d be open to learning more about the role to provide a fair pay range for myself, the reply was “we are moving forward with other candidates then”
What was the point of that? How do you expect to attract any candidates when you have “recruiters” ask pay with no communication/no discussion of the role, no background of the company.
Found this very unprofessional.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tafi in June 2022
Interview
It's as if the recruiter didn't look over my resume. I asked her what experience they were looking for in a developer, and she stated 3 when there was clearly only 1 on my resume and the interview concluded there. Kind of a waste of both our times.
