Interview
A recruiter initially reached out to me after finding my profile on LinkedIn, it then took around 4 weeks including me chasing to get an initial phone conversation organised. During the phone screen the recruiter then tells me they are looking for someone with more experience in the CSM role. Considering they reached out to me based on viewing my profile, I found this very unprofessional and a waste of my time. Not a good first impression of the company.

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and I have been contacted the next day by the recruiter to plan a skype interview the next week. The interview went very well and she told me she will let me know about the next step before the end of the week.
It's been now 3 weeks I have no news from her. I called her, let her messages and mail to know how things were going on. Just that.
Yesterday, I asked her again about it and today I checked Jobvite and I saw they closed the recruitment. I haven't been told anything. I think it's a shame to treat candidate like this, but it's probably the way they treat their own employees...
Of course, I know it's common, but when you have a first interview with them and then, they tell you they will let you know how things will be and you don't have answers... come on, what a lack of professionalism and respect!
I'd like to apologize for your recent experience with our Talent Acquisition process. It seems we may have let you fall through the cracks. We take every precaution to avoid this and to ensure we close out with every candidate we speak to. However, in a high growth company operating at warp speed, mistakes to happen. As you can see by the other reviews here, it is an uncommon mistake but no excuses. One bad experience is one too many for me.
I hope you will revisit Talend as a potential employer in the future and allow us to show you our commitment to candidate experience.
