Talentica Senior Software Developer interview questions

Initially telephonic discussion about sharing the profile to Managers. After profile got shortlisted I went through 2 technical round , after clearing those 2 rounds and there was a director round whose feedback has not come yet. I kept on asking them the feedback but there is no review yet.

4 Rounds of interview total 1 Telephonic, 1 Written test, 1 F2F, 1 HR, 1 Directors (optional) I was contacted directly by them & they had requested earlier for me to come in mumbai as they were in mumbai itself.. but i could not manage so next week arranged an interview in pune itself. They are good in terms of handling the interviews as they give you the reimbursement of your travel. Even if you come from flight they pay your flight expenses provided the distance is far (e.g bangalore). They value your time. from Mumbai they give you only standard bus/train fare. I reached at 11 and the HR lady made me fill a form about my details and gave me a test which consisted of writing programs, java questions, aptitude, SQL & English grammar. Surprisingly i took 2 hrs to complete the test but they give enough time. and not in hurry they are... Some of the questions i remember: Programing one 1) write a program to find min element of array and 2nd max element in same function 2) write a linked list that can save string and integer both. implement search and insert for that. Aptitude 1) you have 6 balls one is heavier in how many tries u can identify the heavier one given a traditional weighing scale 2) Calculate average speed for journey (pretty simple) Sql 1) difference between SP & function 2) A query to join from four tables and get a result set 3) count(*) query result Java All pretty easy ones .. but they were tricky Once this was completed was required to wait for my round of 1 tech interview which was also easy. he asked me abt my work & gave some puzzles and problems and wanted to test the approach. It lasted for around 45-50 mins. Then there was an short HR interview regarding my expectations and negotiations Then had to wait for the directors round. who came a bit late. so had to wait. The director discussed all the business and his aspirations with me and wanted to know abt me also why i am joining, why talentica, wht is the most screwed up situation i encountered, what was the best addition i did etc etc. He talks a lot & has a healthy conversation with everybody (Dont know how he has the energy to do that). After that is done, they say that they will inform in 5 days whether or not to send you an offer, if they dont u are not selected. PROS: Interview experience is good Their hospitality is quite organized and they value your time CONS: They say that they strictly hire graduates from NIT, IITs but there were non premier institutes candidates with me The location is in Baner just across the Mumbai-Pune highway and its a 4-5 storey building above D-Mart. So not much of an appeal to me. Not an MNC
