I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Tanium in Dec 2020
Interview
Started with the recruiter, then the second interview was with a TAM VP and then the 90 minute demo roleplay and then a little Q & A. The panel was led by the creepiest individual and the overall culture from what I could tell was pedantic, abrasive and arrogant. Most of the panel were pre-sales folks who used to be post-sales folks and so they asked way more questions from post-sales troubleshooting than actually pre-sales.

Question 1
A "rorschach" test was actually the highlight of the process. I enjoyed that. The panel leader put up a series of screenshots of troubleshooting windows and asked what the first thing that came to mind which I thought was pretty effective. The question I found most revealing and distressing was what do you say to a salesperson when they lie to the customer.
