Tanium Solutions Architect interview questions

I applied online, and was contacted by a recruiter. I was told this was a high priority role and they were moving quickly. The process was going to be 7 interviews with VP level folks. I went through 5 rounds and was given very positive feedback after each round. They were hour long interviews, and I was asked questions that were challenging and thought provoking. I connected well with the interviewers. After the 5th one, I asked the recruiter when the next one would be scheduled, she called and informed me tersely that they were deciding to proceed with another candidate who had a lot more experience. She said I did really well in the interviews and nothing else I could have done differently. I thought this was very inconsiderate on their part. They could have informed me sooner in the process instead of having me waste hours upon hours of time. I also did not feel they were appreciative of the time I had invested in the process.
