One interview with two managers. The interview was both quite casual and easy. Basic questions were asked about previous work experience as well as scheduling needs and expectations. Offer followed shortly after.
Lied about hours, amount of tips, and more in order to entice workers for their new opening. Said it'd be starting in a month with full time hours and great tips. Job was delayed 2 months, gave us 2-3 days at most and tips were $50 a week which is abysmal in back of house standards.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tap & Barrel (Vancouver, BC) in May 2025
Interview
Casual interview. One "technical" question. Explain your history and standard questions. Gives you lot of time to ask your own questions. Interviewer very nice. Willing to connect with you with or without a job offer. Wants to stay in touch.
